Description The Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation Melaka Centre is situated at 24G Jalan Permai, taman Perkota, Melaka. The centre stated with 2 children and a teacher cum administrator in March 200. It was officially opened on the 29th July 2000 by His Excellency The Governor of Melaka. At the end of the 200, it had 7 children. In October 2002 it proudly witnessed the graduation of 2 children. Today, the Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation, Melaka Centre has grown to 2 teachers and 27 children.

Description Joy Workshop (PKIIM) is a non-profit center which aims at providing young adults with learning difficulties or academically slow an opportunity to learn work-related skills, so as to enable them to achieve their full potential and lead a normal a life as possible with help from the family and the community at large. The trainees do paid contract jobs while those in the junior class (ages 17 and below) are trained in self-help skills, social, recreational and communication skills, functional academics and community functioning skills. This is to lead them to independent living.

Description A non-profit Christian-inspired organisation that aims to provide training, counselling, support, and information to children with learning disabilities (ages 0-6 years), and their caretakers, regardless of race, sex and religion. Apart from contributions by the parents who have enrolled their children, funding for these activities is entirely voluntary, involving solicitation for individual and public donations, and application for grants and subsidies. Provides opportunities towards training children to develop their full potential and their integration into kindergarten and school. Encourages and equips parents with information in the overall development of their children. Offers pratical, emotional and spiritual support to families.
